Our Services
We provide affordable, high-quality spay and neuters for cats and dogs. We offer vaccinations, microchips, heartworm tests, FeLv/FIV tests, and nail trims at the time of surgery. We also have a full line of flea, tick, and heartworm prevention as well as dewormer for both cats and dogs. For our pets who are not receiving surgery we offer all services/products, excluding nails trims, once a month at our vaccine clinics. Please refer to vaccine clinic schedule.

We appreciate you taking the time to learn about our process at West Georgia Spay Neuter Clinic. The following information will ensure a speedy and hassle-free experience.
Scheduling/Payments
We are a high volume clinic. Please schedule as far in advance as you can. If you need to reschedule please call 48 hours before your scheduled appointment.
DEPOSITS: We require a $25.00 non-refundable deposit per pet for surgery appointments and a $15.00 non-refundable deposit per pet for vaccine clinic appointments.Your $25.00 deposit will go towards the veterinary exam your pet will receive on the day of surgery. If your pet is declined for surgery for any reason and does receive an intake veterinary exam, your deposit will go towards that exam.
If your dog is declined for surgery after the pre-medication is given there is a $25 charge.
SPECIAL NEEDS PETS: We are a very high volume clinic so we ask that you leave your dog in the car until you have checked in. If your pet has high anxiety or shows aggression towards strangers please let us know at least a week PRIOR to your appointment and we can make special arrangements for you. We may be able to offer sedatives for the night prior and morning of the appointment. Please keep in mind that our services are not a fit for every pet.
• We do not accept walk in pets with the exception of feral cats in humane traps on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. See Feral Cat Protocol.
• Payment can be made with Cash, Visa, MasterCard or Discover. Unfortunately we cannot accept personal checks. We do not accept Care Credit.
• Effective 11/01/2022 - There is a 3% surcharge when using a credit card. We encourage the use of cash or debit card to avoid this fee.
• Balance payment is expected at time of pick-up/discharge. Please allow time for post surgery home care instructions.
• There is an additional charge of $30 per pet if you are 30 minutes past sheduled pick-up time. Additional fees may occur. We are not able to board pets.
• If your pet is up to date on a rabies vaccine, please bring the rabies certificate in at the time of check in. The rabies tag is not valid proof. If you do not have proof of a rabies vaccine at check in your pet will be required to receive one at the time of their visit.
• An animal will be considered abandoned after 24 hours and will be turned over to the Douglas County Animal Control, as we do not have the space to keep them. We appreciate your prompt pick-up and payment.
